Life. Pretty amazing huh? Even out there, in the dirt. Hungry, drunk and high. Hungry for rest, drunk on music and high on happiness, stumbling your way through disapproving looks and moronic laughs. Those moments of awe in which love, friendship, loyalty, everything you thought lost in people, melts into one ecstatic smile. There is no time, no space. Just laughs, hugs and loud voices screaming with joy. For a few hours we were only a handful of souls entwined in unjustified madness. Maybe it was the hypnotic visage of the fair. Maybe the carnival was in our spirits that yearned for some sweet release. That I will never know. But what I will never forget is what we have seen and felt that night. Together we lunged into hell like cliff divers and then flew like doped angels into the heart of the night sky. Again and again and again. Our bodies were dried of sadness, and oiled in the liquid of forgetfullness. We floated like rock'n'roll ghosts among the animals of our era. We slowly dissolved in the primordial soup of cosmos. Our laughs echoed through galaxies and our joy spread like ripples of an atom bomb. The blind laughed as their shadow engulfed them and dragged them into the ground. All around us those people killing time in the fair didn't know that actually TIME was killing them.
