I love you, from the back of my skull to the tip of my toes. I want to be your best memories and the comforting wind after you had your worst. I want to be the wall between you and the world. I want your guilt, your shame your everything. I want to be the arm that snaps their fingers when they point at you and laugh. I want to be the hand that leads you through the night back home. I will be there smiling when you scream at me, and in my embrace you will lose the will to fight me. I want to melt your fear into wine and we'll both set off drunk to the stars. I want bury your guilt and bathe you in the sweet scent of flowers that grow from it. I want to have your joy and from it braid together delightful music that makes the soul shiver. When you don't feel beautiful, I will lock my doors and my windows and stay inside with you. I want to be the mad flavor of your dreams. I want to be your dream of better days.
What I want from you is to live long after the castle I built for you in my heart, crumbles. That, and a drive to the moon every now and then.
