 I have waited in silence

longer than the oceans have known their names.

there was a  cycle

fire

bloom 

decay

return

even endings had a place

but you severed the rythm

ravaged the root

dug past the bones for more

now the balance breaks

and i am here

not in wrath

but in answer

not in vengeance

but in memory.
